I’m Dr. Michael Lau. I have been a Licensed Psychotherapist for 24 years and have provided treatment to children, adolescents, and adults through eclectic best practice approaches that have been proven effective. I always try to meet each individual at their own point in their recovery process and provide each with a non-directive, client-centered approach to treatment. Accepting and understanding each individual for who they are and what they bring and expect from the therapy process has always been a key variable in successful treatment for each individual I work with. Being able to demonstrate positive outcomes through the use of quantitative measures has been able to provide concrete evidence to individuals that recovery, balance, and overall wellness is possible.

we believe in creating a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental atmosphere. We seek to provide overall balance and wellness through being unconditional and accepting you where you are in your life journey. We have walked the same steps, or at least similar steps as you, so we understand what struggles we all face. Transformation and sustainable change can be a slow and scary process but we believe everybody is able to attain it and be successful.
We work with individuals to help find balance in all aspects of their lives, understanding that nourishment is about food that goes on your plate but also what is happening in all other areas of your life.
